A Woman Charged With Arson.

Mrs. Margaret Hopkins, who was arrested by Detective Geyer, at the Homeopathic Hospital, on last Saturday, on a warrant charging her with setting fire to her dwelling, at 2840 Kensington avenue, with intent to defraud insurance companies, was taken to Philadelphia yesterday. She was taken to the central station and committed by Magistrate Pole for a hearing next Wednesday. She was accompanied by her little boy, and pleaded that he might be allowed to go to prison with her, but he was sent temporarily to a home.
