La Junta, Nov. 29 (AP) – A general court martial conviction on a charge of attempted rape confronted a 23-year-old Chicago soldier today with a possible dishonorable discharge and a 20-year prison term. Waddell W. Keith Jr., a negro, stationed at the La Junta air field, heard the judgment yesterday and the court recommended the penalty, Col. Roy D. Butler, commanding officer, said, Keith was accused of attempting to assault a white woman in La Junta, Nov 3.
