The inquest in the case of Carrie Brown, who was murdered at the East River Hotel, was adjourned yesterday at the request of the District Attorney, through his Secretary, H. W. Unger, on the plea that the police are completing the case against the prisoner “Frenchy No. 1.” The inquest is to begin to-morrow afternoon.
