CAMDEN COUNTY NOTES

It is rumored that the next grand jury of Camden county will investigate the disappearance of certain money belonging to the late A. J. Greene, treasurer of Gloucester city, which his widow cannot account for. 

Mrs. Maggie Hopkins, the widow who is charged with setting fire to a house she rented at 2840 Lancaster avenue, was taken from the Homeopathic Hospital, Camden, to Philadelphia yesterday. She was then placed under restraint on a charge of arson.

The Delaware River Telegraph Company held its annual meeting in Camden yesterday, when the following directors were elected; J. J. Burleigh, William S. Conner, William B. Bill, Charles A. Janke, Richard F. Smith, Frank L. Vinton and Edward H. Green. William S. Conner was elected president and J. J. Burleigh secretary and treasurer.
